Features of a Barbeque Oven

Barbeque ovens are devices that can be used to cook different types of food. These appliances are often found in storage rooms, and are available in a wide range of designs and colours.

In most barbeque ovens, the food items are arranged on a tray. This provides a convenient and safe way to access the food items. However, it requires the operator to be physically positioned to reach the food. The operator also has to be able to slide the tray into an extended position.

To facilitate safe and efficient access to food, the cooking tray of the barbeque oven may be freely rotatable. This ensures that the operator can access the entire tray for all food items, as well as rotate the tray to distribute heat more evenly.

Other features of the present invention include a movable door to allow for access to the cooking chamber. A grease receptacle may be positioned below the cooking tray. When the cooking tray is in an extended position, the grease receptacle collects drippings from the food.

An elongate track may be positioned within the cooking chamber. It may extend from the opening to the back of the cooking chamber. A supporting foot of the appliance may include a fixing slot, a pull ring, and a fixing pin.

The driving member of the cooking tray may be a pinion gear. Alternatively, the cooking tray may be a generally circular shape. Another feature of the barbeque oven is a biasing feature that urges the cooking tray to engage the driving member when in the first position.
