This delicious, easy meatloaf recipe is sure to be a hit with your family. It’s made with a combination of ground beef and pork which gives it that extra bit of flavor. This recipe is made with a classic bbq sauce but you could use your favorite brand or even make your own homemade bbq sauce. It’s very important to mix the ingredients well and knead the meatloaf to ensure that everything is mixed together evenly and that there are no large chunks of meat left. You should try to not over mix the mixture, as that will make it tough. You can use a spoon or your hands to do this but be careful not to overwork it.
The eggs and breadcrumbs help the meatloaf to stay together and to keep it moist. The smoked paprika is optional, but it adds a wonderful smoky taste that complements the rest of the dish. It is recommended to use fresh ground meat, rather than the pre-packaged tubes of meat. Freshly ground meat is less compacted, allowing for more tender and juicy meatloaf.
