FOLEY, AL- One of Foley’s oldest buildings will reopen later this year as the Colt Grill Barbecue and Spirits restaurant. The new business is scheduled to open this fall at the corner of North Alston Street and West Laurel Avenue in downtown Foley, according to Foley Mayor Ralph Hellmich.
The 17th annual Foley BBQ & Blues Cook Off, presented by RiverView Turf, will return to Heritage Park in downtown Foley on March 7 and 8. The Kansas City Barbeque Society-sanctioned event brings award-winning barbecue, popular blues musicians and family fun to the community. The event’s proceeds benefit the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation, which supports local schools.
